This is the final section of the Production. This part is incredibly important. This Section will include basic colour correction and animation.
Audio
The Music was from God Of War PS4 and was composed by Bear McCreary. The specific track used was Bear McCreary - God Of War I am using this song for educational purposes and not for any commercial use. Editing
First step is to import all of my animations as a PNG Sequence. Exporting with Arnold gives you a sequence namespaces so when I go into After effects I can import all of the images by pressing the first frames of the animation. I set them up in the timeline and edit them to match the beat of the audio. Every time there is a hard beat, the screen goes black, to make it more epic and look cinematic. This is trial and error because it need to match it up perfectly and make sure I use the right animations to transition together. Here is the Timeline so far:
Once all of my footage is imported, I place them in the timeline and put them in their own compositions because I am using an effect that lets me adjust the speed of the footage. The Effect is called Twixtor and is a 3rd party plugin for after effect. Here are my settings:
After adjusting all of my animations and setting up the timeline, I began colour correcting using Magic Bullet Looks. I use it a lot and prefer it to the standard Colour corrections in after effects, like Lumetri Colour, though it is good. Colour correcting was pretty basic. I made the composition darker and added a bit of blur to the edges to focus more on the model. Here is a screenshot of Magic Bullet Looks:
The Final part is to Export using Media Encoder. I do this by going to File<Export< Add to Media Encoder Queue. I use the YouTube 1080HD preset and hit Export. All I do after that is wait. I am done with the Animation and I need to upload it to YouTube.
Evaluation After Editing
The Editing was pretty easy. It was basic so it wasn't time consuming. The only problem is establishing the right theme. I want to make my animation epic so I had to go through a lot of editing to make sure what i'm doing is the right way to do. Thankfully it came out the way I wanted it to. I am happy that I managed to get my animation done in time. If I had to change anything, it would be tweaking some thing in Twixtor because it made some scenes more choppy and didn't look smooth. I would have fixed that If I recognised it before it was too late. I know what to do next time when I'm making this type of animation.
