For Unit 12, I have been thinking what I should do is a Title sequence for my Final Major Project. I'm not sure what it could include or how I'm going to do it, but I'm certain that I could get a good result in the time we have. While making the Title Sequence, I'm going to add pages discussing some projects that will help me achieve my FMP to the standard I want. Some of those things will include:
Skin Texturing and Detailing using Texturing.xyz
Rigging in Maya (Face Rigging Script)
Hair Grooming with XGEN
Anatomy Study
I hope to go into thorough detail for all of these topics and properly explain why these topics are going to be linked to the Final Major Project. As an aspiring Character Artist, It's important to get an idea with how some of these topics work and understand how important they are when working in the industry. I want to be a specialist with Zbrush, but that doesn't mean I can only do Zbrush stuff. I like to experiment and explore different things, like Marvelous Designer, Mari, Substance Painter, XGen and so on.
Title Sequence
I am going to make a basic Title Sequence for my Final Major Project. I'm going to use Adobe After Effects and sampled audio that will link to the FMP idea. It will be 30 seconds long and include text, particles, motion graphics and Audio. The fact that it's simple, it allows to go into more detail on the other topics and I won't have to spend all of my time to the sequence. I want my title sequence to excite my audience and create a cinematic vibe. My goal for the FMP is to make something I never Imagined I could do. I want it to be thrilling, visually pleasing and makes the audience feel amazed and impressed with what I can do. The Title Sequence will have that same type of energy so I can engage and excite anyone who sees my FMP. I was initially going to make a 3D Title Sequence, but I figured that it would be too much hassle and I wouldn't get much time to focus on my other case studies for this unit.
